InaAuthenticate from Inabyte Enables Instant Verification of Users Within a Domain

Embeddable component provides an off-the-shelf user login and password management solution for e-businesses 

NOVATO, CA, September 5, 2000 — Inabyte Inc., a developer of components for the COM™ environment and the Win32® architecture, today released InaAuthenticate, a component that immediately authenticates users within a domain. InaAuthenticate provides functionality that is critical to the user logon process, and it can be embedded in an application server page on a Web site to support member sign in. 

By directly querying a Windows NT domain, InaAuthenticate enables password and user name authentication across the entire network. It’s an effective utility for reducing password management tasks. InaAuthenticate can also verify that a user belongs to certain groups within a domain, and it allows for the retrieval of all groups a user belongs to within the domain. As such, it can support security systems that restrict user access or grant permission to specific areas within a site. A cost-effective, off-the-shelf package, InaAuthenticate can be integrated within any size e-commerce site or even standalone networks domains.
